Q: What is CommissionMonitor™?

A: CommissionMonitor™ is the most efficient and cost-effective commission management software for insurance agents. Our web-based program provides managers with the necessary tools to manage and track their agents quickly and easily. The CommissionMonitor™ software enables you to quickly log policy data, trade policies and leads between agents, enter and view agent commissions, and give real-time information and statistics to better run your agency. It is a unique program that will assist you to streamline costs and increase productivity.

Q: How much does CommissionMonitor™ cost?

A: CommissionMonitor™ is available to any size agency for only $1,995. One payment. One time. Includes six months of maintenance and any software updates that we offer, as well as free phone and email support.

Q: How can I pay for CommissionMonitor™?

A: Payments can be made with a credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express), bank transfers (through PayPal) or PayPal. We currently do not accept personal or business checks, or money orders.

Q: How many agents can use my agency's copy of CommissionMonitor™?

A: CommissionMonitor™ lets you add as many agents as you have or need to it. If you have five agents, go ahead and add them. If you have five hundred agents, everyone can use it, but you might want to let them add themselves!

Q: My agency has multiple offices / agents in various locations. Can we still use CommissionMonitor™?

A: Yes. More than one office? No problem. Your data is accessible from any computer with internet access. CommissionMonitor™ lets you and your agents connect from anywhere at anytime. So, if you have agents across a city, county, state, or even the country, all of them can access and use CommissionMonitor™ whenever they want to, from wherever they are.

Q: How quickly does my data update in CommissionMonitor™?

A: The information is updated instantaneously, and viewable in real-time. There is no wait time and the data can be modified by the agent at any time while they are logged in. Of course agents can only edit their policies and leads, while managers can edit everyone's policies and enter commissions for all agents.

Q: What do I need on my computer to use CommissionMonitor™?

A: As long as you have an Internet connection and an Internet browser such as Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, or something else, you can use CommissionMonitor™. We recommend that you  because it lets us provide you with a better looking version of CommisionsMonitor™. It doesn't matter whether you use a Windows computer (any version), Linux, or Apple. CommissionMonitor™ will work on any platform, as long as you have cookies enabled in your Internet browser. Not sure whether or not you have cookies enabled? Q: Is my data safe and secure?

A: Glaeser Enterprises, LLC will provide you with a username and password for an administrator of your CommissionMonitor™ software upon completing the registration process and setup on your webhost. It is your responsibility to secure such passwords and account information. This administrator account gives you the ability to create users, set them as active or inactive, designate who is a manager, agent, etc. Glaeser Enterprises, LLC does strive to protect your data and we use security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. To illustrate, we store the personal information you provide on computer systems which are located in controlled facilities. The number of employees that have physical access to these computer systems is limited. When we transmit highly confidential information (such as a credit card number or password) via the internet, we protect it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. The payment page is secured through SSL on a secure PayPal server. Glaeser Enterprises, LLC does not store your credit card information upon completion of your purchase.

Q: How do I install CommissionMonitor™?

A: We will install CommissionMonitor™ for you on your webhost as part of your initial purchase. So, if you have an existing website that you would like CommissionMonitor™ installed on, we will need a FTP username and password to install the software on your site. You will need a webhost that has the requirements outlined in the next question below. If you do not have a website, we can easily setup CommissionMonitor™ on a new domain and webhost for you for a low annual fee.

Q: What does CommissionMonitor™ need in terms of webhost requirements?

A: In order to have CommissionMonitor™ installed on your webhost, you only need a couple of things...PHP 4.x or higher and MySQL 4.x or higher. Both of these usually come on a Linux based server, so that is the preferred operating system, but Windows is fine too. Not sure what any of the above meant? Not a problem. We'll let you know if your webhost meets the requirements, and if it doesn't, we'll either set it up so that it does, or help you setup a new site / host for a small annual fee.

Q: I received an error message that says "Could not connect to database - #1040 - Too many connections" (or something similar). What does that mean?

A: That error has to do with your webhost and not the CommissionMonitor™ software. It simply means the maximum number of people that can connect to that database has currently been reached. If you wait a minute or so, then hit 'Refresh' or 'Reload' in your Internet browser, your site should work just fine.
