Credit Card Security Code
One way we safeguard your credit card is by requiring you to enter your card security code at checkout. The card security code is an important internet security feature that appears on the back of most Visa / MasterCard / Discover cards, and on the front of American Express cards. This code is a three- or four-digit number which provides a cryptographic check of your credit card number. See the image below for an illustration.
The card security code helps validate that the customer placing the online order actually has the credit card in his/her possession, and that the credit/debit card account is legitimate.
Tip: To ensure successful orders, make sure the billing address you enter in the shopping cart matches the billing address on your credit card.
